New Glasgow Lobster Suppers, nestled in the heart of New Glasgow, PEI, is a highlight for seafood aficionados and families alike. Renowned for its impressive selection of lobsters, including the famous 3 lb lobster for one or two, it's a must-visit. Diners rave about the creamy seafood chowder and the succulent buckets of mussels—often described as the best on the East Coast. Reviewers like Phoebe L. and Adam Harte praised the restaurant not only for its delicious seafood but also for the attentive service and generous portions. The dining experience here is carefully curated; side dishes like potato salad and coleslaw complement the mains beautifully, although some have found the slaw a bit bitter. Desserts such as the coconut cream pie have received glowing accolades, further sweetening the experience. The restaurant's structure, allowing for seconds on soups and salads but not enabling a backward pass to previous courses, adds an engaging twist to the meal. Overall, patrons leave feeling satisfied and eager to return, making New Glasgow Lobster Suppers a true gem in the culinary landscape of PEI. The combination of fresh ingredients, friendly service, and a vibrant atmosphere creates unforgettable dining moments for all ages.

We were looking for a place to eat lobster and found this place. Based on the reviews we had to visit. We ordered a 1 lb and 1 1/2 lb lobsters and panned fried scallops as our main dishes. Had the seafood chowder to start. It was creamy and delicious, we ordered seconds. The bucket of mussels was so good, we wanted to order more but needed to save room for our main course. The plate with a sampling of salads was a good palate cleanser especially with everything so buttery. The lobsters were scrumptious. Was cooked perfectly. Scallops were okay nothing special. For dessert we had the chocolate cake which was very moist and the strawberry shortcake with ice cream which unfortunately was abit mushy. Overall a fantastic experience. Highly recommended.

Hands down absolute BEST dining experience of our 20 day East Coast Road trip and possibly one of the best dining experiences in my entire life. The staff were so friendly and professional. The food was UNREAL! I’ve never eaten so much in my entire life. Here’s was I had -1 Bread roll -2 bowls of chowder -2 buckets of mussels (my wife and I shared these so I can’t take all the credit.) -A plate of salads (mixed greens, potato and colslaw.) -A 1.5 pound Atlantic Lobster -We shared coconut cream pie, Lemon meringue pie, strawberry shortcake. -I then ordered a 2nd piece of coconut cream pie. Up there with the best I’ve ever had. -2 beers I don’t even have words to describe this absolutely mind blowing experience. It’s something I truly will never forget. Thank you so much New Glasgow Lobster Suppers!

So stuffed! After visiting the toy factory we came here for lobster dinner! So good! I shared the 3 lb lobster with my husband. Our kids had lobster and pasta. All our meals came with a soup ( chowder or tomato), salad ( the slaw was bitter so none of us finished that portion), a bucket of mussels ( we had 2) and the main meal. You can only have seconds. It’s not all you can eat sides . When you finish one dish ( not the main ) the server will ask whether you want seconds. If you do, he /she will bring it to you. You cannot go backwards. For example you can’t have your main dish and then ask for the ( second ) soup. It’s finish one dish, then move onto the next . So after the soup , it’s salad. Then the main and desserts. Everything was very good! The soup was so hot too ( temperature)! For dessert, I had the coconut pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Husband had an apple pie and lemon meringue. Kids had strawberry shortcake w ice cream and a bowl of just ice cream. Overall this was a good meal and we all left super full!

The Missus and I along with the boys and two family renegades had a dinner at the New Glasgow Lobster Suppers. What a fabulous dining experience. Our server Megan provided excellent service considering we were her first customers on her new job. Everyone enjoyed their main courses of lobster, surf & turf or pan fried haddock. The side dishes of mussels, salads, seafood chowder and tomato basil soup were delicious as well. Even the buns were scrumptious. And the desserts were irresistible. Except for the mains, it’s all you can eat. It will be a must stop whenever we are in PEI.

Love love love! Price is reasonable. Appetizer, seafood chowder, mussels, soft drinks coffee and deserts can have unlimited. At least you enter the restaurant before 8pm, you will have a table to enjoy the meal.

Great food & service. The 3lbs lobster and mussel buckets are full of the taste of sea, fresh and divine. So as the scallops! The buns are the best partner with the tomato soup or seafood chowder. Don’t forget the dessert, esp the lemon meringue and coconut pie.

Food was amazing! Loved the mussels, the bisque, dinner rolls, pies. I got the surf n turf. Loved the steak. Turns out I am not a huge fan of Lobster but everyone else in the party loved their lobsters Very fresh. Restaurant is super cute, and casual. Very large dining room (two levels). Excellent for large groups including bus tours. It's a four course meal. Lots, and lots of delicious food!!! The natural landscape and scenery around the restaurant is beautiful. It was pricey but you get your monies worth in food. Service is great. Staff are extremely friendly. The blueberry pie is amazing! The restaurant is quite large and very busy (if you have autistic children or children sensitive to noise) it can be quite loud BUT they have areas where you can take the kids to walk in-between courses.

If you want a great Lobster meal this is a destination you can't miss. The rolls, the Mussels, the chowder, the salad and yes, a delicious lobster, followed by a good dessert. Lisa our server was outstanding. The place was packed at 5pm we were lucky to find a table arriving at 4:30. The pasta veggie option wasn't any good.
